First grade is such an exciting time as children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning. This is a year of important transitions, as well as one in which acquisition of new skills is accelerated. I am so happy to have the privilege of assisting your child in developing his/her reading, writing, and math skills.
As important as academics will be, I will place just as much emphases on the social aspects of our classroom. I will create a classroom environment where every child feels safe, comfortable, and excited about learning.
