I encourage you to keep in close contact with me. I will utilize phone calls, notes home, email, and the weekly newsletter to keep in contact with my first grade families. Please don't hesitate to contact me whenever you have a question or concern. The more information we share, the more we will accomplish.

As part of our communication, I will utilize the orange take-home folders with behavior calendars inside.
Daily Take-Home Folders
1.) This folder will be sent home AND returned every single day.
2.) I will send home our first grade newsletters, my own newsletters, important forms and notices, homework, and other papers in this folder.
3.) Please use this folder to send in notes, money, etc. (I look in the folders every morning for such items.)
4.) Important: Always keep your child’s “Behavior Calendar” in his/her daily folder. (PLEASE initial the correct box each evening.)
5.) Important: Please take all of the papers out of the "Keep at Home" pocket EVERY evening.
First Grade Newsletter: “First Grade Facts”
1.) The first grade team will send a newsletter home every Monday.
2.) This newsletter will include our curriculum for the week, upcoming events, reminders, etc.
Mrs. Miller’s Newsletter: “Friendly Frog Hoppenings”
1.) I will also send home my own newsletter each week.
2.) My newsletter will include reminders, "Fabulous Froggy of the Week," and other important information.
